To support Nordstrom's expansion north with the launch of its first Canadian store at Chinook Centre in Calgary, OutCold hosted a social influencer event and activation at the annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast.
For the social influence event, OutCold worked with the Hotel Arts and Raw Bar event teams to coordinate a fun evening for a guest list of Calgary area top fashion bloggers. OutCold determined the decor, menu and DJ, executed the set up of the event, and provided and ran a custom social photo experience to engage event attendees and encourage social posting. Attendees were encouraged to post photos from the party to #nordstromyyc to receive branded print-outs of their photos.
For the Stampede Pancake Breakfast, OutCold worked with Chinook Centre to position the Nordstrom activation within the available sponsorship footprint at the annual Stampede pancake breakfast. OutCold arranged a branded horse trailer for the display and provided and ran the custom social photo experience to engage event attendees and encourage social posting.
