Permanent Experience, Temporary Tattoos.
With over 70% of the world having tattoos, it is not out of the ordinary for the Field Museum to bring a Tattoo exhibit to local Chicagoans. Partnering up with OutCold, DDB, and The Field Museum, this team brought this exhibit to life by converting a 1963 VW Bus into a mobile tattoo shop experience. Not real tattoos, AIRBRUSH. With willing participants, a team of brand ambassadors educated consumers on the new TATTOO exhibition at the museum and urged folks to go check it out. Over the course of this 13-day tour, this crisp, fresh, white bus visited 11 Chicago locations/events. With 9,749 giveaways, 1,917 airbrush tattoos, over 6,774 consumer interactions, and 2,637,546 impressions, this was an unforgettable experience even if the tattoos were not permanent.
